Dr Kunal Lulla

Dr Kunal Lulla is a Senior Technical Specialist and Faculty Lead for cleanrooms at the University of Manchester (UK). Kunal is currently leading the operations of the 1500 m² cleanroom facility at the National Graphene Institute. Kunal holds a PhD in Physics (The University of Nottingham, 2011) and an MBA (Lancaster University, 2020). He previously worked as a researcher in several research projects at European level and has over 10 years of experience leading cleanroom operations.  In 2024, he co-founded and currently leads nanoFabUK, a UK-wide network connecting research technical professionals running and/or working in academic cleanrooms.
